Hats, hats, and more hats!
I love making quick newborn hats:) They make great gifts the cowboy hat is a pattern for sale by the Lovely Crow she has such wonderful patterns. I have quite a few of her patterns. The rest are free patterns that I've found online.
Paper Flower Wreath
I really enjoyed this project! It's a small wreath, this picture was taken on my front porch swing. I have to get better at picture taking....All of the flowers are handmade with paper. I did use some berries and flower rods from a spray that was bought.

Busy, Busy!
Things have been a little crazy around here. I've been working on a ton of Christmas ornaments. I know I kinda have skipped the fall stuff, not sure why but I'm dying to put my tree up already:) Already have several more projects in the making. I'll post pictures as soon as they are done.
First here is my very first Birthday Card I made this one for my niece
I used a pipe cleaner for some texture on her K then Made a small flower spray. Very simple hoping to do more cards soon.
Next is a light bulb ornament for the tree. Got this idea from pinterest here. I have found out the hard way I really can't paint. I'd love to take a tole painting class sometime:)
I just used old light bulbs painted them with white acrylic paint then a black paint, took the end of the paint brush dipped in black paint for the eyes. The beak and feet are orange foam, Em and I thought they looked better with arms so I cut them from foam also. I crocheted him a cute camo hat and glued a white pipe cleaner around the bottom, just cause it's cute.
Then I saved my favorites for last...First let me say I absolutely love to do paper flowers right now they are so fun and I love it's just paper and glue, how fun! I bought a package of blueish snowflakes from Walmart and then a couple of packages of white snowflakes from the Dollar Store and put some of my paper flowers on them. Love them!!
Really enjoying these and plan to do a few more. I think they would make cute package decorations or gifts. I just used hot glue to attach the paper flowers and I clipped off a few little filler greenery from some little sprays I've bought here and there. I love the beaded pin on the last one there are several youtube videos showing how to do those. The flowers are all hand embossed and put together in layers, Love it!
It's cold, rainy, and windy so I'll be crafting again this evening. I'm off work for a few days:) Until next time.
